Avuri in Tamil also called as Neeli in Hindi is a small plant grows upto 3-4 feet. It is now being cultivated by our farmers in India for its herbal values. Avuri or Neeli Leaves are dried well and ground into very fine powder. It has been used by thousands of Indian from ancient days for so many Siddha and Ayurvedha practices. It has very good fragrance of the original plant parts. It is natural and pure.

It is called as Indian Indigo in English, Neelini in Hindi, Neeli Chettu in Telugu, Neelayamari in Malayalam, Hennu Neeli in Kannada. Its Botanical Name is Indigofera Tinctoria.
