Sundakkai is the fruit of a small tree of Solanum family of Plants. Its fruits are collected, dried well and made available online as raw vathal. Unlike other Sunda Vathal, it is without salt. It is having its original bitter taste like green Sundakkai. It is being used by our people to kill intestinal worms. It is a part of our grocery items since ancient times. 

As it is unsalted, people afraid of high blood pressure are also using it. Sundakkai is good in inducing hunger.
